The Captain's Chair Resource is a participation prize given to players who participated in the "Chronological Chaos" Organized Play Event.
When used, it can only be assigned to a ship that has a Captain with a printed Captain Skill of 5 or higher.
During the activation phase, once per round, the ship to which it is assigned may remove a disabled token from one of it's cards if it performed a non-Red maneuver.
It is considered a resource and costs 3 squadron points.
