About the Game

Strawman Struggle is a fast-playing 2-player card game inspired by Zheng Shangyou and Sean Ross's Strawman Variations.

Players compete to shed out all of their cards first to win the game. Card play follows standard climbing rules found in many traditional climbing games. One player leads with a chosen combo, then the other player must either play a higher version of the same combination or pass.

Unlike other climbing games, in this game part of your hand is on the table, with face-up cards that your opponent can see covering face-down cards that are only revealed as the cards above them are played.
