About the Game

As the leader of a top-secret spy agency, your task is to win control of various mercenary agents in the field. Use your influence to manipulate your opponents and place your bids to win agents to your organization.

Sub Rosa: Spies for Hire is a bidding, bluffing, area control microgame. On a player's turn, they place a token from their hand on one the secret agent cards in play; that token can be placed face-down to act as a bid, or face-up to use that agent's special ability. Once all tokens have been placed, the player who has won the most bids on agents wins the game. From these simple rules, a lot of opportunities arise for bluffing, tricking and manipulating your opponents.

The base game comes with 32 variable set-ups for a 4-player game, allowing for dynamic shifts in strategy and for some unique bluffing opportunities.
