About the Game
The end of the world: It’s been three years since the mists enveloped the Earth. No one knows how it happened. Some speculate that it was an inter-dimensional rift opening or failed wormhole experiment in a shadow lab. What wasn’t a mystery was the death that followed. Millions died in the first weeks. Entities from the mists drained the life from anything living. Around the world governments collapsed and civilisation failed. Humanity survives by hiding and scavenging.
Survive the Mist is card-based survival card game for 1 player. You must search locations for your lost dog “Buddy” and collect supplies before moving to a new region. Movement, mist entity avoidance and searching success are determined using different polyhedral dice.
In addition to the PnP cards, you will need two full sets of polyhedral dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d10 percentile, d12, d20) and a meeple (or similar player token). [d10 percentile is a d10 with 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc. sides.]
