You have received an exclusive invitation to participate in The Game, a secretive event orchestrated by the advanced AI system Synapse and its brilliant, reclusive creator, Dr. Ada Voss. Many of the world's most bright and influential minds have entered. Each emerged awed but unsuccessful. Whispers speak of an unparalleled reward for the first to triumph. But what lies behind Synapse's doors? And what is the purpose of The Game? There is only one way to find out... Play.
Synapse contains one full storyline made up of two parts, with dozens of puzzles to decipher and clues to crack. Play with a group or on your own.
Internet access is needed to view the Online Companion Guide to get hints, check answers, and progress the story. You may also use the Internet to help solve several of the puzzles.
None of the puzzles require destroying materials to solve them so the game can be passed along after playing.
