About the Game

Talavera is an 18-card game inspired by Azul. Originally developed in Talavera de la Reina, colorful and elaborate tile designs became a hallmark of Mexican architectural forish. You are tasked with acquiring and placing tiles to complete a grand staircase.

Players take turns drafting cards representing a collection of tiles. When all the cards in the market have been drafted, each player must place tiles to complete their specific customer order. After 4 rounds of drafting and placing, the game ends and each staircase is evaluated. Points are gained when you place enough tiles to complete an order and lost for excess tiles.

The solo mode requires careful planning (and a bit of luck) to place exactly four rows of 1, 2, 3, and 4 tiles.
