Tank Board Game II: Hex 2025

Tank Board Game II: Hex is a 2-players Tactical level Free Print & Play hex-and-counter Tank themed board-wargame. It is a fully developed and comprehensive game of armored warfare in WW2 Europe and North Africa; from Poland 1939 to Germany 1945.

Its core design is to provide highly detailed shot resolution and yet play as quickly and as simply as “game possible”; everything was rethought from the ground up to meet this goal. What use to take a few minutes to resolve a shot now takes a few seconds, what use to take several tables now takes one table. With this new system large tank battles (50+ units) can easily be played with each tank having separate armor thickness for its Turret/Hull-Front/Side/Rear/Top and shots can be AP, HEAT, or HE and can take advantage of AP Overmatch.

The attacker's goal is to destroy the defender’s towns or exit his tanks off the gameboard edge, while the defender's goal is to destroy the attacker’s HQ. Players take turns moving their unit counters on the hexagon grid and firing their guns.

Simple games can be played with only a few tanks, or large complex games can be played using the fully comprehensive rule set. Rules include direct-fire, indirect-fire, artillery, offboard artillery, rockets, aircraft, armored trains, anti-tank rifles, bazookas/panzerfaust, mines.... Rules also include mechanical break-downs, tow/push/winch, field repair & maintenance units, tank transporters, low fuel/no fuel, weather, demo bridges, pontoon bridges, wading, paratroops, glider troops...

The game includes 120 armored vehicles, 34 artillery and rocket types, and 20 different air unit types.
