About the Game

In order to enter the race each player has to throw a 6, then he places his 'cycle' or counter, on to 'Start'. Whenever a 6 is thrown the player is entitled to another throw. At the end of the game the exact number required to bring the cycle to 90 must be thrown. If, for instance, a cycle is at 89 the player must throw a 1 to be 'home'; if he throws a 6 he must use up the other five in going backwards, and will therefore be on 85.

Teddy Tail was a comic character that first appeared in 1915 as a comic strip in the Daily Mail newspaper.
