About the Game

Tensai is a tabletop game in the autobattle style designed by John D. Clair. You begin with a small deck of basic cards with limited synergy. Over multiple rounds of deckbuilding, followed by short 1 vs 1 conflicts, your power will grow. Structured like a round-robin tournament, eventually the best decks will rise and a victor will emerge.

In Tensai, the classic concept of a “card” has a whole new meaning. Each “card” in this game is a composite of a card-sleeve, transparent image card, and a double-sided, 4-leveled card. Combined, they make a single card that can progress from a basic rank-1 effect to a dominating rank-4 effect. Select your cards wisely and advance them through their ranks to have the most powerful deck.
