About the Game
The 144 Deck
This pack of 144 playing cards hits the sweet spot between compactness and versatility. Its basic system includes 18 ranks in eight suits and 120 sequence numbers. Each suit includes four face cards and three special cards. The bold and light partner-suit design (with the same base-color) creates a four-color double deck or extra-long suits (e.g., for a tarot deck), or it can be used to visually highlight any rank (e.g., for highlighting point value cards).
With this deck, you can play tons of awesome games, making it a great lightweight travel companion and a way to explore and enjoy games that aren't otherwise available. The geeklist for some good games is Games playable with The 144 Deck - personal favorites and the general ways to use it is explained in the Manual for The 144 Deck. The intuitive design is tested and made for smooth card play, avoiding distracting and confusing labels. Legibility and beauty are more important than including additional systems. This deck of cards marries a unique system of numbers, face cards, and special cards with traditional playing card symbols and characters.
