For generations, fighters have wandered through the doors of The Adventure Store searching for equipment to give them an edge in battle, from shimmering potions to “lightly cursed” armour on the sales rack. The shopkeeper has watched countless contestants rise and fall in the battle arena and, being the generous businessman he is, has decided to turn the whole affair into a spectator event. After all, if you’re going to bludgeon each other senseless, someone should profit from ticket sales.

Each round, you and your rivals enter the arena to face a Trial, a high-stakes trick-taking battle where every hand won earns crowns to spend back at The Adventure Store. Upgrade your combat deck with powerful equipment to refine your fighting style and master brute strength, cunning wisdom, or arcane magic.

The shopkeeper, ever supportive of the underdog, has a soft spot for competitors willing to fight dirty. Fighters who fail to claim a single victory in the arena may still walk away with bonus store credit... and the satisfaction of stealing the crowd’s admiration from the so-called champion.
