About the Game

From the box top,

Contains all that is needed to play Ancient Wargames on the move!, set includes: Rules, Magnetic playing surface and terrain, Dice, Two measures & Two painted and magnetised armies!!

User:

Players compete with two preselected ancients armies to be the first to out fight their opponent by destroying four enemy units whilst losing less of their own units. Each player has a camp which counts as two units if captured and a general who is equivalent to four units.

The scenery is fully magnetic and offers a myriad of battlefields. Scenery includes river, hills and rough terrain, all of which greatly affect unit capabilities.

The two painted ~2mm scale armies offer varying units including; cavalry, knights (including chariots), elephants, archers, pike and psiloi.

This original version includes Alma Wargames Easy-peasey Ancient Wargames Rules a simplified derivative of De Bellis Antiquitatis 1.2 and offer rules for flanking and unit depth.

All units and scenery are magnetic and battle is joined within the box which has a green battle area with magnetic storage.

This is truly a travel miniatures wargame which can be played on the move.
