About the Game

This is a wargame set during Japan's violent restoration period. This was a pivotal battle which saw Imperial troops(led by Saigo Takamori) defeat the last of the feudal Bakufu forces in Ueno city on May 15, 1868.

Saigo Takamori is featured in the film the Last Samurai.
