About the Game

The Devil is played with any standard 78-card Tarot deck. Free the court cards from the Devil’s grasp by playing cards from your hand that match the suit of an available court card. Two cards meeting or exceeding the rank and also matching the suit of a court card will free it. Each time you play a card, draw a new one from the deck.

Drawing one of the 8 Disaster cards may cause you to lose cards in play or in hand. However, cards lost to the Disasters become martyrs and their power (from beyond the grave, as saints) will help you towards the end of your mission to defeat the Devil.

If you can free all the Court cards, you will battle against the Prince of Darkness himself in an attempt to banish him eternally.
