About the Game

The Devil's Antiquarian is a competitive board game for 2-4 players that immerses you in a dark and mysterious world where you become a rival antiquarian. Your objective is to outwit your opponents and become the most renowned collector by acquiring powerful relics, casting spells, and navigating the unpredictable influence of the Devil himself.

Gameplay Overview: At the start of the game, each player opens their own antique shop, complete with slots to display collected relics. The game features a shared marketplace where relics, spells, and deals are available for acquisition.

On your turn, you can: Generate Resources: Collect resources from your relics and shop abilities. Acquire Relics: Spend resources to purchase relics from the marketplace. Each relic has a point value and may offer special abilities or bonuses. Cast Spells: Use resources to cast spells that can aid you or hinder your rivals. Spells can manipulate resources, affect the Devil's movements, or alter game conditions. Make Deals with the Devil: Risk making a deal to gain powerful advantages. Deals offer significant benefits but come with potential costs or future consequences.

The game ends when a player accumulates relics totaling 10 points.

Strategic Depth: Balance resource management with risk-taking as you decide when to invest in relics, cast spells, or make deals with the Devil. High Player Interaction: Engage with opponents through spells and deals, creating a dynamic and competitive environment. Easy to Learn, Hard to Master: With straightforward rules that take less than 10 minutes to learn, players can quickly start their adventure while discovering deeper strategies over time.
