Description from the Back of the Box;

This expansion adds two new types of uniquely able Special Crew, the Academics and Merchants, and two new enemy types, the Acolyte Speaker and Acolyte Bloodletter, to the game, as well as new and unique Sea Event, Expedition and Denizen cards.
