About the Game

The Ground Fortified is a tactical wargame set during the Battle of France in 1940 in World War II. It portrays German probing attack against France’s infamous impenetrable Maginot Line.

The game uses a similar system with its prequel in the series, The Ground Between. The focus of this game is set on Armor Units. France has more and better Armor Units, whereas Germany is better trained and coordinated.

Will the line hold and give France time to rally reinforcement and call upon its ally? Will Germany break through and carry its invasion through the French border instead of Belgium? You shall decide.
