About the Game

A single card game where 2 to 4 wordsmiths try to make a word from their 5 letters generated by The Letterator.

TO START place the Letterator so that each player is facing one of its quarters.

ON EACH TURN the active player selects a letter from the quarter facing them and writes it down, announcing which section of the quarter it is in (e.g. ‘red’, ‘yellow left’, ‘purple centre’). The other players locate the letter in the corresponding section of their quarter and write it down.

The active player then rotates The Letterator. The player on their left becomes the new active player and a new turn begins.

THE ROUND ENDS after 5 turns. Players then make a single word using their 5 letters, scoring points for the letters used in the word and bonus points for a 5-letter word.

THE GAME ENDS after 4 rounds (3 for a 3-player game). Each player then creates a grammatically correct sentence that includes all of the words they've made, reads it aloud and announces their total points. The player with the most points wins.
