About the Game

There was a Scout is a cooperative game mostly focused on storytelling.

Scoutmasters are taking scout kids to camping in the forest.

Every night the scoutmasters have to tell a scary story to their troops. They need to scare them enough to keep them from wondering away from the camp, to the woods during the night. The scouts have different personalities and phobias so the stories affect each scout differently. If any child goes missing during the night, a search party phase comes up before the next night's story time.

The goal of the game is to have all the scouts back in the camp after the final search party.

The Dual edition includes a family friendly version and an adult, drinking game version.
