Thud Ridge: A Solitaire Game of the Air War over North Vietnam 2014

THUD RIDGE is a Game where you are a Commander of a Squadron of F-105 Fighter-Bombers during the Vietnam War. Your goal is to complete a series of missions and score as many Victory Points (VP) as possible to assist to the US war efforts.

Game features an innovative system that allows a single player to easily resolve SAM Attacks, AAA Attacks, SAM Suppression, Air-to-Air Combat and Ground Attacks involving multiple aircraft.

The game also includes a large hex-based map of North Vietnam, many colorful counters of aircraft, including F-105 Thunderchiefs, F-4 Phantoms, Mig-17s, Mig-19s, Mig-21s and RB-66 Destroyers.

Mission Resolution involves the player to draw a Mission Card, select his aircrews and arm his aircraft to best complete the Mission. You will need to determine what Mission roles your aircraft will perform; Strike-Bomber or SAM Suppression (Wild Weasel).

Also Included is a US Navy Campaign called ALPHA STRIKE. ALPHA STRIKE has the Player in command of a Naval Carrier Air Wing(CVW) off the coast of Vietnam, known as Yankee Station. ALPHA STRIKE includes A-4 Skyhawks, A-7 Corsairs, A-6 Intruders, EA-6A Prowlers and F-4 Phantoms.
