Tier King 2025

Tier King is a party deduction game where everyone works together to create a ranking chart—a “tier list.” The Judge chooses a ranking theme, such as “sweetness of vegetables,” but hides the key word (in this case, “sweetness”).

Each player writes one item that should appear on the tier list, and the Judge places those items on the chart according to the hidden theme. The other players then look at the placed words and try to deduce what the theme is.

Players get two chances to guess! If everyone guesses incorrectly on the first attempt, the group adds another word to the list and tries again.

Choosing which word to submit is crucial, and interpreting the placed words is the heart of the deduction. If the group correctly guesses the theme on the second attempt, the Judge earns a high score—so the Judge must guide the players with just the right hints through their placements.
