Time Machine 2023

Would it be easy to guess what was invented earlier — the computer or instant coffee? Or perhaps… the first pair of jeans? Dive into the witty party game “Time Machine” and set off on an adventure-filled journey through time.

The goal of the race is to outsmart your opponents by traveling to a year as close as possible to the finish event set by the Time Navigator.

To win, you’ll need both knowledge and daring. Time machine fuel is limited, and on every turn you face a tough decision: rest and replenish your cards, or launch into yet another risky journey through time?

During the game, one of the players becomes the Time Navigator. Each turn, the Navigator announces a randomly drawn historical event but does not reveal its date. The other players race to choose the chronologically closest event from the cards in their hands. Players may also skip the race and replenish their time machine fuel — their supply of date cards. Once everyone has made their choice, the Navigator predicts which player’s event will win the race through time.

A victory point is awarded to the player whose chosen event has the smallest time gap between its date and the finish event. The Time Navigator also earns a point if their prediction is correct.
