About the Game

A small solitaire game in Operations Magazine Issue 31, where you are an engineer on a WWII destroyer dealing with mishaps, crew, captain and other misfortunes, all while just trying to serve your tour of duty.

From the Rules: "Every turn you roll a single die once to determine the random event table and again to select a particular event. For each event, choose (as your decision, not randomly) one of two courses of action and adjust the ship's status markers as indicated . . . Set these markers up by rolling one die for position (except TOUR, which always starts at the Welcome box). Flip the coin to see if it starts heads {plus] or tails [minus]up. During the Player Options Phase, you can turn your sweat into some ship improvement, or not."

There are 5 tracks, each from 1 to 6, that you need to keep above "1" before your Tour (a separate track) ends. These tracks are Hull, Plant, Engineer, Captain and Crew. If ANY fall below "1" you lose the game.
