About the Game
Trickage is a partnership trick-taker for four players where the trick winner scores points equal to if the trick had been a cribbage hand. It is played with a standard deck.
Players are dealt 12 cards from a standard deck, and one card is turned face up to determine trump and to function as the "up card". Players play a fairly vanilla "must follow" trick taking game, but the four cards in the trick plus the "up card" will score as it would in Cribbage. That means some tricks will be worth 0 points, and others can be worth 20+.
It can be played with four players, with opposite players playing in partnership, or as only two players competing directly, with both players playing two cards to every trick.
The game is scored on a Cribbage board, and the first player to reach 121 points wins. (Or 61 points if playing a short game.)
