About the Game

Vertigo is an action-dexterity game where you build a colorful, psychedelic tower, balance multicolored beams and "vertigoers" (human-shaped pieces that hang off the edges of beams) onto the tower, and battle opponents in dice matches.

On a given turn, each player rolls a numbered die and performs an action based on what number is rolled. For example, if Player 1 rolls a 2, then that player picks 2 different objects (from a wall, beam, and vertigoer) to place/balance onto the tower in any order. Some outcomes lead to rolling a second "object" die that forces a given player to put specific pieces onto the tower.

If the number die lands on a 4, the player rolls the object die, places the given object onto the tower, then challenges an opponent of the player's choosing to a Battle Round. In a Battle Round, each player rolls the numbered die once, and whoever gets the highest value wins the round. After the standoff, the winner forces the loser to place a piece of the winner's choice (from ceiling, wall, beam or vertigoer) onto the top floor of the tower.

Whoever causes the tower to collapse loses, and everyone else wins. Alternatively, a player is simply eliminated from the game when they knock down the tower, and gameplay continues from the existing tower up until one player remains.
