About the Game

Los Angeles, 10th of August 1953. A ceiling fan rotates awkwardly, slowly pushing stale air around an ill lit office. Near a darkened window a lonely detective sits in a rickety old chair, feet on a desk, reading a police report. A couple of filing cabinets, a coat rack with a fedora, a bottle of bourbon and an ashtray overflowing with cigarette butts complete the scene. "Someone needs to get to the bottom of this case, it sure as hell won't solve itself!"

Vicious City is a narrative deduction game for 2-5 investigators. A crime has been committed and the players are tasked with solving the case, attempting to gain a conviction against one guilty suspect whilst ensuring another suspect, who they know is innocent, is absolved.

When the last evidence token is drawn from the bag the current round is completed and the case is resolved. Players are awarded victory points based on the outcome of the case and the player who scores the highest victory point total wins the game.
