About the Game

Visit NYC: The Subway Racing Game is a race across a map of the New York City subway. One Route Card sets a Start Station and a Destination Station, and every player races between the same two points.

Everyone holds 5 Action Cards. On your turn, draw one, then play or discard one. MetroCards get you into the Start Station and let you transfer where lines meet. Movement Cards move you 1, 2, 3, or 5 stops. Disturbance Cards (Breakdown, Medical Emergency, Delay) stop or slow lines, Solution Cards clear them, and Transfer Cards can force another player onto a different line. Five bus lines round out the map, and disturbances can't be played on them.

The fastest route at the start of the game is rarely the fastest route by the end. The first player to reach the Destination Station wins.

Components: game board with Disturbance Tracker, 5 player tokens, 9 Disturbance Chips, 80 Action Cards, 72 Route Cards (69 preset, 3 blank), instruction booklet.
