About the Game

The Battle of Ia Drang, a pivotal engagement in November 1965, marked a watershed moment in the Vietnam War as U.S. forces clashed with North Vietnamese troops in the first major conventional battle of the conflict. Spanning the remote Ia Drang Valley, American soldiers faced relentless ambushes and fierce firefights against a determined enemy. Employing innovative tactics and utilizing the mobility of helicopters, U.S. troops managed to repel North Vietnamese advances and inflict significant casualties. —description from the publisher
