About the Game

As the German occupation tightened its grip on the Soviet homeland, Soviet resistance fighters emerged from among soldiers cut off behind the lines, local communists, and defiant civilians determined to resist the invader. Amid harsh conditions and constant danger, Soviet partisan detachments waged a relentless campaign of raids, ambushes, and sabotage against German invaders, striking supply lines and garrisons. Sustained by local support and intimate knowledge of the terrain, their hit-and-run tactics became a persistent and formidable force behind enemy lines.
