About the Game

Whiskers and Fins is a 2-4+ player deduction game that challenges players to strategically uncover their opponents' fish while avoiding their mischievous cats. Each player has a set of 25 cards (13 fish and 12 cats) and 6 tokens, aiming to collect the most fish by the end of the game.

Players arrange their 25 cards face down in a 5x5 grid, creating a continuous path of fish that must be logically deduced by opponents. On your turn, you flip over at least two cards to find fish. Revealing a fish gives clues about where the next fish might be since all fish must be connected. You can keep flipping to uncover more, but if you reveal a cat after your second pick, your turn ends, and you lose a fish.

The core of the game is logic and deduction, not just guessing. As fish and cats are revealed, players gather crucial information to map out the likely positions of the remaining fish. By analyzing the placement of revealed cards and applying deduction, you can make informed choices that increase your chances of success while minimizing the risk of hitting a cat.

Players are sidelined after revealing 6 cats, and the game continues until all players are sidelined or no more valid moves remain. The player with the most fish at the end wins, making every deduction and decision vital in your pursuit to outsmart your opponents and become the ultimate fisher in Whiskers and Fins!
