About the Game

Another Pepys game that was inspired by a traditional card game (Sevens). Brilliant work by the artist. 44 cards in four suits of eleven cards, numbered 2 to 12. Play begins when somebody lays down a 7 and places it in the centre of the table. The next player must lay down another 7, or he can add an eight or a six (of the same suit) either side of the original 7, and so on. If he cannot play a card, then he has to pass. Players aim to play all the cards in their hand and to be the first to do so.
