About the Game

Wilderness: May 5-6, 1864 is a Grand-Tactical level for 2 players (though you can play solitaire by playing both sides). The game is designed to be played in 2 - 10 hours depending on the scenario. The game comes with a beautiful full color hard mounted map and counters by José Ramon Faura.

Refight the first battle between the two great generals of the American Civil War - Grant and Lee. As Lee can you block Grant's juggernaut in the Wilderness sending him reeling back north of the Rapidan ? As Grant can you finish Lee off now and end the war in 1864 saving thousands of lives? The decisions are yours....

Wilderness: May 5-6, 1864 has 5 scenarios counting the full 2 day battle. This includes several half map scenarios portraying the fierce fighting separately along Orange Plank Road and Orange Turnpike on both May 5 and 6, 1864.

Volume VII in the Civil War Brigade Battle Series, Wilderness: May 5-6, 1864 comes with the latest version (1.5) of the series rules.
