About the Game

Working Witches is a cozy and clever bluffing card game of witchy wagers. Players take the role of mayors eager to bring whimsical witch businesses to their towns. Each round, a new witch arrives, seeking the perfect place to set up shop—be it a potion parlor, broom boutique, or charm café. To win her favor, players boast about how many magical services their town can offer. The bids rise higher and higher, with each mayor stretching their claims to outshine the others.

But witches know when a story sounds too good to be true. When a boast seems impossible, another player may shout “Mischief!” and the truth is revealed. Players reveal their secret icons to see whether the claim was valid or just smoke and mirrors. Clever bidding, quick wit, and a little luck will determine which town becomes the most enchanting hub of witchy commerce!
