About the Game

Who will be the quickest to find the right sea creature with all their dice?

At the beginning, each player has a dice cup and three dice. All the dice have the same motifs printed on them: dice fish, starfish, crab, seahorse, octopus and a submarine. Each player places their three dice in front of them so that the submarine is facing upwards. Another die is now rolled and placed in the middle of the table. This one shows a starfish, for example. Now all the players call out together "3...2...1... Dive!" and the action starts. The first thing each player tries to do is to roll the three dice to get the animal from the centre of the table, but only one dice may be in the cup at a time. So the dice are rolled one by one! Once someone has hit the animal they are looking for with all of their dice, they shout out loud "Show up!" and everyone finishes their roll. The calling player then gets the die from the centre of the table and adds it to his own. If a player still has submarines in front of him, he must give up one cube. The first player to have five or six dice wins.

The dice game for children and families "Würfelfisch" is suitable for 2-5 players aged 5 and up. It takes about 15 minutes and is by the author Christoph Cantzler.
