Your Village People is a card game of attacks, counters, and shifting fortunes in which players wield mystical powers to eliminate their opponents and become the last player standing.
Each player begins the game with three lives and a hand of four cards. On a turn, a player either plays a card or draws a card, using attacks, defenses, counters, and special abilities to outlast their opponents. Cards can cause players to lose lives, block or redirect attacks, steal lives, return eliminated players to the game, and produce other unexpected effects. Players may never hold more than four cards, making careful timing and hand management important throughout the game.
The game ends when only one player remains, or when the draw deck is exhausted, at which point the remaining player with the most lives wins.
According to the game's lore, the Village People draw their mystical powers from the cursed Evil Forest, where wicked spirits grant supernatural abilities to those willing to embrace them.
