Heat Pedal to the Metal + expansions - no lid lift

A box insert for the game “Heat: Pedal to the Metal” plus its two expansions: “Heavy Rain” and “Tunnel Vision.” Fits all content, including boards, into the original box with no lid lift.

** 2025-12-13 - Just learned a 3rd expansion is being released in 2026. This print will accommodate only 2 expansions. I made an assumption that there would only be 2 expansions since the original had allocated spaces for 2 additional cars. Updating this design to accommodate a 3rd expansion will be challenging. Not sure when/if I'd get around to trying.

I use unsleeved cards, but it will fit sleeved cards too.

The design consists of a board shelf around the edges with the components underneath the boards. One corner is unique (labeled Board Shelf B). One stack of player trays must go in this corner (otherwise they'll slide around).

My design goals were to fit everything in the original box, improve set up and take down time, keep everything in place if turned sideways or upside down, and to minimize material use.

One of the components are “Card Toppers." You can squeeze the finger holes and place them on top of a stack of cards to keep them from slipping out of their holder should the box be flipped around. They're otherwise unnecessary to the design.

Print settings:
0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height.

Infill: 5% density using Cross Hatch pattern (10% for “player trays” and “filler”)
