Bomb Busters Card Tray with flip function

This is a functional tile holder designed for the board game Bomb Busters , featuring an interactive flip mechanism operated by small push buttons that allow the tiles/cards to tip forward easily.

Printing notes:

• The bottom part should be printed as a multi-part object (“Main” and “Letters”) with the text facing down on the build plate.
• The top part includes built-in print supports and can be printed as provided.

After printing, remove the small plastic supports carefully using a hobby knife (e.g. Stanley knife) or flush cutters.

• Tested with 0.25 mm layer height and 3 perimeters .

Assembly:

• After printing, the top and bottom parts need to be glued together .
• I used a two-component (epoxy) adhesive , which worked very well.

This version was printed on a Prusa XL with two toolheads in two colors.
If you omit the “Letters” part, the model can also be printed on a single-extruder printer. If needed, rotate the model 45 degrees on the build plate to improve fit.

A version optimized for smaller print beds and single-toolhead printers will be released soon.
