Here's an insert for the Dragon Eclipse board game from Awaken Realms.
This insert has been designed to facilitate storage but also to improve the ergonomics of the game by offering storage adapted to gaming sessions. It replaces all plastic inserts except those for miniatures. All the inserts can be stored in the box of the special edition without increasing the height of the box.
The contents of the inserts are as follows:
- 1 mystling box insert with 2 removable inserts to keep 2 mystling and play with.
- 1 insert with 2 removable compartments for energy gems and damage points
- 1 insert with 6 removable compartments for essences
- 1 insert with sliding storage for all the tokens used in the adventure
- 1 insert with sliding storage for all tokens used in battle
- 1 module to install and display the enemy Mystling's battle cards, objectives, power during the fight with red/green indicators to track the achievement of objectives to tame the Mystling.
- An insert to store the reusable boosters of the game. (the sealed boosters are a little too thick, but if you force it carefully)
- An Insert for standard cards, with spacer to divide the insert areas
- A mini card insert, with the dividers to separate each type of card.
- An insert (which does not fit in the box) to store the neoprene mats and make them easily accessible during the game for those who have taken the option.
- An empty insert to fill the space and store the Mystling encyclopedia flat.
Some inserts require a large tray (neoprene storage insert, standard card insert) such as the H2S or H2D. So for those who have a P1S or an A1, you will have to print the inserts that are compatible with the size of your tray.
I worked on optimizing the weight and therefore the amount of plastic to be used without losing sight of the rigidity for comfort of use.
I put color to differentiate the inserts from each other, including red for combat and blue for exploration. You are free to print all this with a single color if you don't have an AMS.

Voici un insert pour le jeu de plateau Dragon Eclipse d'Awaken Realms.
Cet insert a été conçu pour faciliter le rangement mais aussi pour améliorer l'ergonomie du jeu en proposant des rangements adaptés aux sessions de jeux. Il remplace l'ensemble des inserts plastiques exceptés ceux pour les figurines. L'ensemble des inserts se rangent dans la boite de l'édition spéciale sans augmenter la hauteur de la boite.
Le contenu des inserts est le suivant :
- 1 insert boite mystling avec 2 inserts amovibles pour conserver 2 mystling et jouer avec.
- 1 insert avec 2 compartiments amovibles pour les gemmes d'énergie et les points de dégats
- 1 insert avec 6 compartiments amovibles pour les essences
- 1 insert avec rangement coulissant pour l'ensemble des jetons utilisés dans l'aventure
- 1 insert avec rangement coulissant pour l'ensemble des jetons utilisés en combat
- 1 module pour installer et afficher les cartes combat, objectifs, pouvoir du Mystling ennemi durant le combat avec indicateurs rouge/vert pour suivre l'atteinte des objectifs pour apprivoiser le Mystling.
- Un insert pour ranger les booster reutilisable du jeu. (les boosters scellés sont un peu trop épais, mais si on force avec soin ça passe)
- Un Insert pour les cartes standards, avec intercalaire pour diviser les zones de l'insert
- Un insert pour carte mini, avec les intercalaire pour séparer chaque type de carte.
- Un insert (qui ne rentre pas dans la boite) pour ranger les tapis néoprène et les rendre accessible facilement durant le jeu pour celles et ceux qui ont pris l'option.
- Un insert vide pour combler l'espace et ranger l'encyclopédie Mystling bien à plat.
Certains insert nécessite un grand plateau (insert de rangement des neoprenes, insert carte standard) comme les H2S ou H2D. Donc pour ceux qui ont une P1S ou une A1 il faudra imprimer les insert qui sont compatibles de la taille de votre plateau.
J'ai travaillé à optimiser le poids et donc la quantité de plastique à utiliser sans perdre de vu la rigidité pour le confort d'utilisation.
J'ai mis de la couleur pour différencier les inserts entre eux avec notamment rouge pour les combats et bleu pour l'exploration. Vous êtes libre d'imprimer tout cela avec une seule couleur si vous n'avez pas d'AMS.
