Designer's Description

This contains the following items to upgrade your Feed the Kraken - Basic Edition into a Special Deluxe Edition :

- kraken and tentacle miniatures
- sailor, pirate and cult coins
- navigation card tray
- better stands for lieutenant, navigator, and off-duty badges
- insert to put everything safely into the box

You still need to get 11 small pouches for the coins. You can sew them yourself or buy them on the internet. They are not expensive.
Alternatively you can put the coins into envelopes.

Printing:

- Everything printed very well multicolor with an AMS. It should also look good in a single color.
- You can safely turn off the cleaning tower for the insert parts.
- The plate with the card tray is configured to print in print-by-object mode so you can print both colors in one go without waste.
- Be careful when removing the supports from the miniatures. These are the only parts here that need supports.

Assembly:

- The coins are double sided. You need to glue them together in pairs. Make sure you align them correctly.
- The parts of the insert fit perfectly without gluing. This makes it also easier to remove the miniatures.
- Check if your kraken miniatures fit nicely. It shouldn't be a too strong fit so you don't damage them, when you take them out. If it's too firm, use a file to make it a little bit looser. Also be careful how the miniatures are oriented when you put them in so they don't push on each other.

Where to store everything:

There is a separate tray for the cards in the language you don't use as much. You can also put the deep sea card there since you don't really need it, when you use the navigation card tray.

I put the badges and stands into the captains log. The coins and pouches fit into the “other material” area. There should be still room in the captains log if you can't get everything into this area. In my version the ship is super safe in its compartment. If this isn't the case for you, you can still put some cloth inside to soften it.

Origin:

The insert and the stands are designed by myself.

I colored and made some minor modifications to the kraken from Mr_Micha and cut and mirrored the coins from Pjoernrachzarck to make them double sided. The trays are also from him but I am not 100% satisfied with them. Perhaps I will design another one at a later time.
