Wingspan Egg and Food Box with Magnetic Lid

This box will hold the components of the base game and European Expansion.

This is another egg and food token box for Wingspan. I saw something like it on Facebook, so I created my own version of it. It has enough capacity to hold all the eggs and tokens from the expansion as well.

It uses small 6x2mm magnets in the holes at the corners to hold the layers together for storage. The holes are 6.1mm in diameter on the model. Depending on the printer and the material, this could be a bit snug. You can scrape a little material away if needed. I put a small amount of superglue in the hole, then pressed the magnets in. You have to be careful to orient them properly so that one layer will attract the magnet on the next layer, not repel it.

I left a round indent in the lid for convenience to hold the first player token. It just rests in there, it is not held tight.

The lid has the graphics and text slightly raised. I used a color change while printing to change to white PLA to print those graphics,
