Designer's Description
For the lines, I used waterslide decal paper with the attached PDF.
I also added a multi-body STEP file with simplified lines for multi-color printing.
These are the settings that worked for me with generic PLA on my QIDI Plus4.
- Crib & Crib w Lines
- Print-in-place
- 0.16 layer height
- I used a brim because the snap-fit closure tabs wouldn't always adhere
- Other adhesion methods would probably work
- Slide
- 0.08 Initial layer
- Critical for tiny dovetail feature
- 0.10 Other layer height
- Takes some force so snap into board
- It helps to push in the center to flex the slide cover
- Peg
- I printed small side down with large brim
- SLOW it down, like 5mm/s
