Designer's Description

I love board games. And I love Space Hulk. I own the original 1989 version and the 2009 edition.

The game is great and I enjoy playing it from time to time, with friends and family.

The 2009 edition features a lot of gorgeous miniatures, tiles and tokens. A lot. And that makes setting up the game a bit of a hassle. The table can become a mess and players may end up confused with the token management.

So I designed these chip holders. They make the game much more convenient and fast to play and are very useful for storage too.

I was very much inspired by Marius Bach's work. He designed 'Uboot he boardgame chip holders' that I printed and have used for months.

You can download three holder boxes with their cover:

  • the Space Marines holder stores the flame thrower chips and the tokens for Overwatch/Jam and Guard statuses. It also features a slot to hold the Heavy Gun ammunition counter
  • the Librarian holder stores the 5 Force Barrier chips, the Psychic Storm chip and the Psychic points counter
  • the Genestealers holder is designed to store the Blips chips face down so you can randomly pick them when needed

Have fun!
