Red Rising: Character Deck Tray and Banish Tray

Plan Your Print
Fits sleeved cards
Designer's Description

These are two types of card trays for the board game Red Rising. One tray holds character cards, both as storage in the game box and for drawing from while playing. The card tray is designed for sleeved cards. Two trays are needed to hold all of the character cards in the game.

The second tray is the Banish tray - hexagonally-shaped so that players can easily toss a banished character card in from any direction at the table. Cards are easily accessed in the tray in case a player gets to recover one.

The character card trays are designed to fit perfectly in the cardboard insert of the box. The Banish tray is too big, but as shown in one of the pictures I cut out slots in the cardboard for it to fit. The wolf-shaped Helium token tray then fits underneath very nicely.

How I Designed This ===================

All pieces were designed in Fusion360 and exported as .STL files using MeshMixer. Images from the Red Rising board game (Red Rising logo, caste pyramid, Banish symbol) were transformed to black and white using Gimp and then converted to .SVG files using Inkscape. The .SVG files were then imported into Fusion 360 for extrusion.
