Deep Regrets Board Game Insert - Sleeved cards, horizontal box storage

As usual, the stock insert didn't work for my uses... though I loved the fact that it was paper pulp/lessened the plastic at least.

Anyway. This insert is designed for sleeved cards, and currently, only horizontal box storage. There's a good amount of space in several of the card trays to create a uniform top layer, and these will certainly shift around. Of course, you can just add some foam or something to the top of each stack of cards. A proper vertical option with card tray lids isn't out of the realm of possibility... there's enough space that I needed to include a spacer, but not something I'm too concerned with unless I get a bunch of requests and get bored.

Trays are generally labeled and sorted to make setup fairly quick. The standard sized triple tray is for Depth cards, and the standalone for items. I stuck the start of game player cards (player aids, massive regrets, etc) in these two since they're really easily identifiable. You'll be pulling out the decks anyway, so splitting the items into their proper decks ain't a big deal. The two smaller sized card trays, regrets and dinks, have quite a bit of extra space in em to provide flatter top alignment across sections. Note that these cards are the weird mini euro wide, mini american tall, so I used a paper cutter to trim my sleeves. Paladin makes the correct ones, though.

Player tokens are all bunched together. I think it's possible to segregate them, but I like the freeform nature here. Things are easy to grab, no need for a slide ramp. All the dice that go in the bag stay in the bag, and that nicely fills the slightly chunkier area pictured. The other tokens and coin all go into another compartment, which could easily be shrunk down 4mm to accommodate card tray lids.

The spacer is only .5mm thick, so expect it to be a bit floppy and maybe warp a bit. Doesn't really matter to me, just stops the trays from kicking around.

Sleeves pictures are Gamegenic Mattes. They're thicker than Mayday Standards or Sleeve Kings while fitting fairly tight. I did leave some wiggle room, though I didn't test with any ancient FFG silvers or anything.

I would probably recommend the insert going at the bottom of the box. In the pictures they're sitting on top of the game boards, and you can see the spacer slides down a bit that way. Put your score pad or any sheet of paper on top of the printed insert to avoid damage to more fragile cardboard components as well, of course.
