Author did a great job designing these pieces. I just removed the older file versions and made appropriate duplicates. I also added supports to the Bonus Tray and the Player Tray as my print for those pieces didn't turn out the best without the supports. Set this to 0.16mm layer height; I know it takes longer, but I wanted a high quality print for this high quality game.

Designer's Description

This is a set of organizers compatible with The Castles of Burgundy Special Edition - Acrylic only . The original inserts that come with the game are very well designed, and suitable for cardboard tiles. However, I find it very tedious to fit all acrylic tiles into the original insert, put all acrylic hex tiles into pouches, and rearrange all pouches to minimize lid raise. I believe that using my insert version, setting up tableau, and cleaning up is way faster.

This insert set features separate tile trays for different types of hex tiles. Dumping all tiles from hex trays into pouches is as effortless as putting all tiles back into trays from pouches. Hex trays can act as discard piles while tiles are in the pouches.

Setup, resources, and bonus trays can all be utilized immediately in the game without any additional steps.

All pouches can now be stored in one of the original inserts without any lid raise.

All trays come with lids to support vertical storage.

For Player Tray and Bonus Tray, print them with the support setting turned on.

If for some reason your hexes do not fit inside HexTray_1 (due to stickers, or size variation), please print HexTray_3 instead and use that to store White, Grey, Red, and Blue hexes (Thanks @slothsabotage for the idea ).

Note: You will need a printer with a large print area to print this insert. The largest piece is 211mm x 161mm

Hope you find my insert helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there is any problem with the files. I will try my best to answer everyone.

NEW UPDATES: 10-16-23

Player Tray Lid is now 0.2 mm thinner so the clearance will be wider.

Hex Tray Lid is 1.4mm wider

Hex Tray 1's inner walls are now thinner, so there is a bit more room for hex tiles

NEW UPDATE 10-25-23

Added new Hex Tray Base: All 4 hex trays can be put inside this tray.

Added new Hex Tray Lid: this lid will cover the hex tray base.

Note: I had to increase the size of the tray lid, so it might be a tight fit when putting everything together inside the box. I will do a test print when I have time. If your tray lid cannot be fitted inside the box, try to use the older version lid (v2) to cover the 4 hex trays. The Hex Tray Base will not work on this v2.

NEW UPDATE 10-30-23

Adjusted the HexTray_1 so that there is a bit more room for the Blue hex slot.
