Competition Size Scrabble Letters Set

Competition Scrabble tiles are 19 millimeters by 19 millimeters (0.75 inches by 0.75 inches) in size and 4 millimeters (0.16 inches) thick. They are slightly smaller than the squares on the Scrabble board, but are still large enough to be easily handled and read.

A standard Scrabble set includes 98 letter tiles and two blank tiles. The letter tiles have score values indicated by a number in the bottom right corner of the tile. The blank tiles have no score value and can be used as any letter.

Scrabble Tile Distribution:

• 2 blank tiles : Worth 0 points
• 12 E tiles : Worth 1 point
• 9 A, I, and O tiles : Worth 1 point
• 6 N, R, S, and T tiles : Worth 1 point
• 4 L and U tiles : Worth 1 point
• 4 D tiles : Worth 2 points
• 3 G tiles : Worth 2 points
• 2 B, C, M, and P tiles : Worth 3 points
• 2 F, H, V, W, and Y tiles : Worth 4 points
• 1 K tile : Worth 5 points
• 1 Q and Z tile : Worth 10 points
