Designer's Description
Stop fumbling with paper money and start playing like a high roller.

We all know the struggle: Monopoly game nights always stall out because the paper money is a nightmare to organize, hard to pick up, and making change takes forever. This Monopoly Money Poker Chip Set solves that problem by replacing the paper mess with satisfying, tactile chips that look great and make the "Banker" role actually fun.

Project Details

This project includes separate 3MF files for the storage case and the currency chips. All settings are already dialed in—for the best results, please utilize the provided original 3MF profiles.

  • Chip Quantities: You will need to print 30 chips for a full set.
  • A1 Mini Users: If you are using an A1 Mini, you will need to print the chip plates twice to get a full set. Note that the storage case is too large for the A1 Mini build plate.

For the Case:

PLA works fine, or you could use PETG for extra strength. I included the Monopoly logo version of the top lid of the case, but also included plain white NON-AMS version too. I printed the inserts in TPU which is best for a quiet soft feel, but you can use your preferred filament. If you use TPU , you will need to adjust the settings for the inserts. The case is too big to be printed on the A1 mini, but can be printed no problem on any other Bambu printer with a build volume of 240mm+.

This case uses a snap-lock style hinge, so no hardware needed! No supports are needed either, so it's super easy to print. I've included the STEP files for the case so you can adjust them to your needs, be sure post them on Makerworld as a Remix if you want to share them.

To attach the inserts I used 3M double sided tape and it worked great.

Recommended Build Plates & Printing Tips
  • Standard Plates: This model is best printed on a "Supertack" (Cryogrip) plate for maximum reliability.
  • Special Instructions for $500 Chips: If you want to use Silk Gold PLA for the $500 chips like I did, you must use a Smooth PEI plate . This ensures you get that smooth premium texture without damaging your supertack build plates.
Filament Color/Types Used
  • Bambu PLA Basic: Cyan ($10), White ($1), Black, Red
  • Bambu PLA Matte: Sakura Pink ($5), Lilac Purple ($50), Grass Green ($20), Latte Brown ($100)
  • Bambu PLA Silk: Gold ($500)
  • Bambu TPU 95-A: Black (optional) (best filament for inserts)
