Rugged Bang! Box with Clamping Lock

The 1MRF tension lock feels much better than the usual snap lock on the RuggedBox V2.
The design of box, lock and card insert is done in OpenSCAD and parameterized just as the original box.
I printed the box in Geetech PLA Wood. Lock and card insert are in Material4Print PETG because it is tougher. But any PLA will do as well. The logo is printed in PolyTerry Army Red and Charcoal Black. I really like this matte colors. Insert a color change at 1 mm.
Print anything in the given position. The bracket needs (tree type) support.
Assembly:
- Connect box base and lid with a piece of filament.
- Connect box lid and lock buckle bracket with a piece of filament. The buckle bracket has only one layer of filament over the holes, so this can be easily pierced.
- Connect lock buckle bracket and lock buckle lever with a piece of filament.
- Superglue the lock catch into the recess provided on the box base.
