Thick 100+ micron sleeves, not just standard ones
Designer's Description
I'm hopelessly addicted to sleeving the cards in all my board games, so when this arrived with an insert that didn’t fit any kind of sleeves, I knew I had to design my own.
This insert accomodates both the standard and deluxe edition of A Place for All My Books, and replaces the original plastic insert. It also fits all the Kickstarter exclusive cards as well. I designed this to be a relatively snug fit with Dragon Shield Mattes, which are thicker than most standard sleeves—so if you’re using something else, I can’t promise it’ll be as pretty.
Everything is designed with ease of setup and intuitive, hierarchical use in mind:
- At the start of the game, each player chooses a character, so each character’s cards and tokens are stored in their own tray for quick and effortless setup. The trays are designed to showcase the characters and their adorable art, making it easier for players to choose their favorite.
- The "Little Projects" and "Other Neat Stuff" decks are needed throughout the game, so I’ve placed both in a removable card tray with a center grip for easy removal—making setup and cleanup a breeze. Shoutout to StartGamesQuicker’s excellent Hidden Leaders design on Etsy for the inspiration!
- The “Major Achievements” are only needed at the start of the game, so I’ve placed them in their own tray, separate from the other decks. Similarly, the remaining tokens (other than the First Player token) and the components for the Solo mode are kept separate, since they may not be needed in every game.
