What changed: The base is now thinner and not rounded, so that “a” and “b” can be glued together. This is better because, for example, if game board 1a is placed, 1b can no longer be placed. See also the images.

Designer's Description

There are several ways to select the next section of the track in Thunder Road. I opted for this variant. These are road tiles to choose the next Route. Just put them in a bag, shuffle them and draw one.
